Wood carving of an angry monkey skull made from basswood (about 315mm high, 270mm long and 160mm wide) including some burning and painting. My idea was to create a eerie sense of forbidden totem. I added a round stand for it to float above ground.
Overall, it took me about 11 hours to carve. One of my best piece so far.
